She has been involved with the Spanish language in many different ways:
She did research on the work of Jorge Luis Borges, at Cambridge University.
She developed Spanish language teaching programs for St. Andrews University.
She extended her Spanish language range for Institute of Linguist exams.
At present she is a member of the Edinburgh Spanish Circle.
